The environment we live and work in has a great impact on our health. For years, our company has taken care of training in terms of safety but even about the provision of ideal tools to monitor environmental risk factors in the workplace and at home. Among the different solutions, gas detectors are included. In this short article we focus on a particular product: CO2 detector ARANET4.

The effect of carbonic anhydride and its monitoring benefits.

Monitoring CO2 indoor in order to keep its concentration below certain attention thresholds leads to some important advantages:

All these benefits are of considerable importance in all the tasks that require concentration, for example within the company for ordinary work or for strategic choices , but even in school classes, where attention and concentration are required from students and teachers.

ARANET4: all its technical characteristics

ARANET4 it’s a device equipped with a display that allows air quality monitoring inside a specific environment by measuring carbonic anhydride percentage. It gives easy indication through a “semaphoric” indication

• green: all right;
• yellow: warning,
• red: poor air quality (can be activated on request an acoustic warning when the semaphoric indication is on “red”).

This device can be used in schools, restaurants and other small and medium sized buildings. All readings that are kept under control are of course carbonic anhydride, temperatures, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure ( this last just through the app). ARANET4 uses an infrared sensor (NDIR technology) that is a guarantee of measurement accuracy and long service life (up to 15 years). It’s possible to do the manual calibration through the App. The interface simplifies the use as well as the result interpretation. Thanks to its small size, this device can be installed everywhere and the two stylus batteries have a 5 years life.

Important: Aranet4 has a datalogger, and memorize data up to 2 weeks (visible on charts throughout the App and downloadable on Excel). The App makes the management of the device and all its settings easier!
